Gary Sewell 2nd Statement

Further to my previous statement I wish to clarify that I left my home by taxi at 7.35pm on Friday 1st March, 1991. At this time I was with Tony GORMAN. Since this incident where I received my injuries, I have had a considerable time to think about the events of that night. I am now certain in my own mind that the man who approached Tony and myself and said "You've had a good kicking now it’s your mates turn," that this man was Carl SxxxxxxN. I also recollect that SxxxxxxN was wearing a sky blue top I didn't notice anything else about the top. I have known Carl SxxxxxxN for about five years as I used to go to the same gymnasium as he used to. I know that it has taken a long time for me to mention Carl SxxxxxxN as being the man who talked to us in the Tuesday Market Place, but I had to be certain in my own mind before saying so. I cannot recall who the other two men were who were with SxxxxxxN as my attention was drawn to the man who was speaking to us. SxxxxxxN was therefore definitely one of the men who then kicked and punched Tony as I never lost view of these three men and Tony until I lost view of them as I walked just past the Tudor Rose.
