Let Down

When I spoke earlier in the Blog about how The Police and C.P.S. had let Tony Gorman and his family down, by failing to investigate his Murder properly. I forgot to mention how they also failed Shelley Mitchelson. Here was a young girl who just happened to witness, possibly the worst thing imaginable. Having made her statement to the Police a day after the Murder, she is then asked to attend 2 I.D. parades three months later. She doesn't shy away from picking out who she thought was resposible for this horrific attack. Something many people would probably have done. Shelley Mitchelson along with her boyfriend Gary did more than anybody to help solve this Murder and they were both deeply let down.
